330ex with aftermarket air filter

Any of you guys out there have an aftermarket air filter on their 300ex like a K&N or a UNI tell what the differences are througgh out the powerband and tell me if you you have to jet the carb when you put on just a filter not a power kit

I have a K&N airfilter. I don't think it makes that big of a difference. All it does is allow more air into the carb. It also allows dust in to the carb. So if you are riding in a dusty areas i would reccomend getting an outerwear to go over that. I say if you get the outerwear you will be doing fine. I don't think that it will take away much power. Not that the K&N or any other airfilter gives you much anyway.
