I really need your help. I am looking at purchasing +3 a-arms, +4 lonestar axle and front PEP limited mass shocks for my 86 trx250r. How will it work out since my front will be ZPS and my back is stock. I will get it revalve soon or is there a chepaer shock i could use instead? What is a good price for the shocks. I need to know this as soon as possible.
What is involved in relvalveing a pep shock ? cost and time. Can a limited mass go to ZPS

thanks

It depends on what rims you are running in the front. I'm sure you will be legal with stock or stock geometry rims but some offset rims might put you over the legal limit. You should be OK with thr PEP's too.

Depending on how soon you want or need your shocks you might want to think about shocks other than PEP. I have had a set of limited mass fronts shocks on order for almost 4 months. I had made the same order a year ago and had to cancel after 6 months because of cash. For whatever reason it takes awhile to get PEP shocks.

-I see in another one of your posts you are looking at purchasing used PEP shocks...guess you don't need to worry about my reply then, sorry.

If i were you i would go with Custom AXIS shocks. Their quality, performance, and customer service are first rate. When i received my AXIS rear, it had been damaged in shipping. AXIS paid for the back shipping, repaired it free of charge.

I had my Works shocks rebuilt by CT Racing, converting them to the TCS/SCS. They are suppose to be the same as the PEP ZPS. It only took two weeks turnaround, lots less money than the ZPS and I have been real happy with them.
