Set the crankshaft (flywheel mark at view window opening) to TDC. Cam gear has 3 dots around it's circumference. Center one is straight up, one on right, and one on left at mating surface. Make sure both the cam shaft dot and decompression shaft dot are aligned. Put the cam gear on the chain with marks aligned. Set the cam in place with mounting ears up and down, in line with crank (both lobes facing down).

Put top bolt with decomp. plate in and finder tighten. Turn the crank 360 and put the other bolt/plate in. Tighten it. Turn the crank another 360 and tighten the other bolt. Put chain tensioner in (unloaded), take up the slack and double check the cam timing marks at TDC. If OK, load the tensioner and glue the head cover in place.

Just a walk in the park.
