Its all up to u. 2stroke 0r 4stroke??
U will have more maintnence on the banshee i think it is faster than the raptor The raptor on the other hand is a 4stroke which will last a long time so will the banshee if taking care of properly. There are more mods for the shee but the raptor handles better. I have riddin both of em i personally liked the raptor better just because of its sheer power. Hope this helps

I have a 97 shee, and my buddy just got a Raptor.
It's difficult to admit, but I like his Raptor better.
The suspension is very smooth...you hardly feel when you land small jumps. It's a much smoother machine (except for very low end).
Maintenance is probably the same for the banshee and the Raptor. Except premix. If you don't mess with overheating and lean jetting and/or premix, your top end will last a long time (my 125kx lasted 10 years with the same top end).
On both, you might want to get a ProFlow as soon as possible.

I think that u should buy a banshee. I oun a raptor and no that its not the greatest machine. I ride my friends banshee more than i do my tor because it is more thrilling. Also the banshee is much cheeper.
i can ride a lot faster and harder on the shee than on my tor. There olso have been lots of problems with the raptors and there tranys. I have had no probs but i have a couple of friends that have.
I am trading my tor for a 2002 banshee. 2 storks foreverText
