660 Grizzly with IRS and a differential lock option? What else can you ask. I would prefer a manual transmission, but beggars can't be choosers. Finally, a reliable manufacturer finally made what could be the perfect quad. I guess the specifics will come out later on, but I'm sure they went as far as to give this baby disc brakes.

We will see who comes away with ATV of the year this year. I haven't owned a yamaha in over 7 years, but it looks like that will change sometime soon!!!!!

How the hell did they keep this such a secret so long. I mean, they have like 3 or 4 different color options on display already, and all we've seen is that crappy spy photo.

Let's pray it doesn't go the way of the Raptor in the reliability department.

I would be willing to bet that they will also have some problem machines as we do with our raptors. It is virtully unheard of to not have problems with a new machine. It's going to be a great ride though, can't wait.

Andy, nice to see you again. Haven't heard from you in quite some time. Brakes you ask? On the front it has dual hydraulic discs, and the back has a hydraulic disc w/4 piston opposed caliper.

My opinion of the Grizzly 660 4x4: A Raptor in 2wd, the best 4x4 ever made in 4wd!

Here's updates to the rest of Yamaha's lineup:

Banshee: New rear brake light, all-new tool free airbox!, new YZ-style grips and crossbar pad

Warrior: New brake light, YZ-style grips and crossbar pad

Blaster: New brake light, YZ-style grips and crossbar pad

Kodiak 400 Auto: New rear brake light

Wolverine: New rear brake light

Big Bear 400 4x4: All-new On-Command in/out 4wd, speedometer, brake light

Big Bear 400: New speedometer and brake light

Beartracker: New brake light

Breeze: Brake light and YZ-style grips

Plus the all-new Raptor 80 and 660 Grizzly. I think it's great that they're putting brake lights on all of their machines. It's a safety feature and really nice on trailrides.

And don't forget the Raptor for 2002 is getting all-new radials tires designed to give maximum in a variety of terrains and better cornering ability. And finally Yamaha is changing that lame airbox design maybe they will change the Warrior's next year.

You are not kiddng I will own a 2003 for sure, unless Polaris makes some big changes, I used to own Yamaha it has been 11 years for me since I sold my 1987 Warrior. This looks to be one helluva an ATV, the Kawasaki was almost there but the new Grizz is a bullseye. all disc brakes and 5.3 gallon tank, even a fuel gauge! dual tripometers. the Raptor motor in a 600 lb machine!!! limited and lockable 4x4, i have not been excited about an ATV in a long time. Not to bash but Honda must be like da*n the Ruby is nothing compared to the Grizz and it is the same price retail. WOW WOW WOW is all I can say and good luck getting one, people will line up for this with cash in hand.

Line up is about right! This thing will be in demand. You know the arguements will ensue pretty soon after it comes out too. You'll have guys that just got a Prarie 650 bitching with those that waited and then got a new Grizz. You'll have guys bitching with others who are waiting on a rumored 700 sportsman. And then you'll have Honda guys clinging to the only thing they have left, the Rubicon's awesome transmission. It should get pretty fun in here this summer! Me, well, I'll be trying to sell my AC again, and probably will be having crap luck doing so.
