DS650 like riding a ATV on Jupiter

Hmmm, depleated Uranium? what brand is that? have to take that for a ride some time...probably hard on your butt.
don't you think maby we should grow up a little bit and stop brand bashing? i mean if you don't like a quad or make...than that's your opinion, and you are entitled to it, but that's not what the idea of this forum is...it's here to help each other out and get new ideas, not tell someone how much you hate their brand
my .o2 cents

If you think a DS650 is heavy, you've never ridden a real 4-wheeler.
Try and jump an Xplorer 400.
Really, I dare you.
Did you ever stop to think that an engine THAT big is probably going to weigh more than that of a small bore sport quad?

You have named your self after an 11-lb rifle and you think the DS650 is heavy! If only your Drill Sergeant could hear you now. The things he would say to you I can't print here, but give me 20 is a very small part of what he would say to you.

He has a point. We all know the DS is heavy, beefy, strong, stabile.
It would not be my first choice if I was a serious MXer.
It is more of a sport/cruiser, I think. Like a dual-sport. I'd like to see a speedometer/odometer/tachometer on it in that place on the dash that looks like it was made for it. Reverse and a 6-speed tranny with a LOW first gear for the rough stuff. I wish it was street legal, so I could get from trail to trail on the highway if I had to. It is great on the road, I drive it on the New Mexico State Highways frequently around here. Then hit the trail, and take off.
How much does a Raptor weigh with wide axle, +3 A-arms, extended swing arm, XCT tires? I'll bet it gains at least 25 lbs to be the size of a DS. If you are used to riding one of the light, little Japannese sport quads like a 400 EX, a DS must seem like a tank.
But to us, those little things are like a kiddy ride run amok. My kid's Raptor is great, but it seems cheap, little, just a tad squirrly, compared to the DS.
