1. How do you change your final gear case oil?

2. How do you clean your spark arrestor?

3. Is it hard to adjust your valves?

1. Changing the final gear case oil is quite easy and your owner's manual will probably list the step-by-step procedure. Is there a particular reason why you need to change it? Unless you feel that water has leaked into the unit through a bad seal, it is quite likely that it doesn't need attention.

2. Spark arrestors too seldom require attention with the exception of those on two-stroke engines. Still, we know that your ATV is a four-stroke. Otherwise you would not be asking how to adjust the valves.

3. While adjusting the valves is not that difficult, it is not something I recommend you try initially without the assistance of someone who has done it before. You can cause severe damage to your engine if you screw it up. Even the most experienced technician will sometimes turn the crank by hand after making these adjustments just to make sure everything is free and clear. This is easy to do since the spark plug would have already been removed to make it easier to set the flywheel to TDC.
