What, if any, problems have you had with you Raptor's engine?? The reason I ask is I'm seriously considering the new Grizz since it appears Honda isn't going to step up to the plate anytime soon. I've heard of the carbs blowing off, but that's it. I'm kinda worried about the reliability issues. Also, what exactly are the changes to the Grizzly's motor compared to the Raptor? Other than the tranny? Increased bore or what??

The carb thing isn't a worry with the Grizz since it only has a single 42mm carb!!

The grizzly engine is only based on the Raptor engine. The Piston and Con Rod are the same but the head is different. Same five valve setup but configured for single carb and more low RPM torque vs. High RPM Horsepower.
Tranny is basicly same as Kodiak.
