Ok I have to ask this. For the money you pay for those quads is it really worth it. Are they as good as everyone says or do you always have to be in the shop. My Blaster was 2,000 dollars and goes 60. A Banshee can go about 70. Now is 10 Mph really worth 3,000 dollars. Tell me all this. Thank you.

In my opinion, it is definately worth it. You're getting a lot more than just 10 mph. What I like more than top speed is acceleration because it makes the ride more exciting. Also, the blaster has a much smaller frame that doesn't suit adult riders very well. It also doesn't have hydraulic brakes like the other quads do. The others have better shocks too. Don't get me wrong, I think the blaster is an excellent quad for the price, but if you can afford it, I'd go with one of the others.

banshee98 is right.
When you buy a more expensive atv you not only get speed. Compared to a blaster you would be getting better handling, better ergonomics, more reliability, and a vehicle you can be more comfortable with. Going by just speed, I would think it's not worth an extra $3k when for much less than that you could get your blaster going well over 70mph.
Too many of us are obsessed with speed and forget about handling. How are you going to go fast when the thing is bouncing everywhere like a mechanical bull? Too often you hear people bragging about there 10,000cc nitrous burning fireball with wheels but they have stock everything else.

I'll make it plan and simple; when I went riding with a couple of guys with blasters, 400ex, Banshee, Mojave,& Polaris we had a ball. The bigger the crowd the more exciting things are. Everyone said; I want a Raptor!!!!
These are actually facts not fiction. It all boils down to what suit your needs... I for one needed a top notch four-stroke. The Raptor fit the bill...even though it was over-hyped by magazines....it's a jack of all trades.

well the previous posters forgot to mention whether you can EXPERIENCE the benefits of a more high-performance sports quad and how often.
In 1998 I asked myself, was the 400ex worth the wait and 1000 more than the 300. Plus, I needed that reverse....now I wish I had a 400ex (well a year ago i did...now I wish i had a raptor) and now that my dad won't buy me another - I DO NOT DARE TO ASK - the answer to that question at the time and for the following year, was I really didn't need a 400ex. But as I became a better and more aggressive rider, I wished I had the 400ex. But every time I get lost in the woods or have to reverse, I'm like I'd be F***** if I didn't have a reverse.

So you gotta take the ability to feel and use the benefits of a better quad.
