I currently have a 00'ds and am wondering which mod will make the most improvement for both power and handling. A-Arms, shocks, pipe kit, etc. Thanks

You want one mod that will improve both your handling and your power? The only thing I can think of that does both of those would be better tires. But I can think of other things to better spend your money on since the stock tires are not that terrible.

If I were only going to do one mod, I would have to recomend a pipe. The stock pipe is rather restrictive and heavy.

The ideal first step in my opinion would be to do a pipe, ignition box, and K&N filter on the carb. 7.5-8 HP gain

The handling is as good as most any quad in stock form, once the suspension has been properly set up. Once your ready to do some handling work, I recomend a set of adjustable upper A-Arms.

I agree with Knutz on the order of hop up but once you add a pipe, CDI, K&N Air filter and Carb you will out grow the stock shocks.

The pipe and filter is what started it for me. After that it was new tires and rims and then it was shocks and time will tell what else. The best mod had to be the pipe and filter though it really wakes the beast up!!!

Now that's what I call a consensus. K&N, any pipe, even just an end-cap job, rev unlimiter (CDI), Then upper A-arms, front shocks (Works steelers are only $335) and TIRES!! (and a front sprocket to compensate for the larger tires). I've done everything except for the CDI box. I still want nerfs or those newfangled things that include the heelguard too (we're not supposed to call them floorboards).

Thanks for the replys everybody but I have one more question. Which pipe gives the biggest gains and who makes the CDI for the DS. Thanks Again.

I like the power gain I got from the Big Gun Complete. As for the CDI, I know Ron Woods. Others may be able to help out more here since I'm in the market also.

I saw one with a Ron Woods Stage I race kit on it and it ROCKED! It would wheelie with ease through the first 3 gears. It is expensive though.
