Does anyone have any info on the LRD 350 PowerValved Motor for the trx250r? Would this motor be good for woods riding? And do it require high octane racing fuel?

Bill Ballance was running the LRD 350 powervalve earlier this year for xc racing he then switched to the 250 powervalve is what I was told. I guess the 350 was to much and wore him out. For woods riding I think is would work great but if your going to be racing xc it might and probably would be to much and tend to make one tired faster. If your going to use it for recreational and basically having fun I think it would be great. As for race gas it all depends on what dome you run in your head, you can run pump gas just dont run a high compression dome/head. Plus going up on compression tends to put added stress on the lower end which will have to be rebuilt more often with high compression.
