I just recently busted my left case, second gear put a big hole in it. I have got a 1985 ATC left case and was wondering if they where the same? If not what is different, I am thinking the counter balancer maybe diffent but I hope not. I have one more question, since all my money is going into my motor I was wondering if racing with wheel spacers in the front are any big deal. Do they work? I also was wondering if they do work than are my works triple rates going to work with them, I know when you are going with extended a-arms you need to get +2 shocks. Thanks for all your help!

use the 85 case. beware unmatched cases don't always line up correctly, so large amounts of yamabond are sometimes necessary to get the cases to seal. I wouldn't use wheels spacers for racing, they're hard on the spindles. Your shocks should be setup for the width of your front end.
