your alba pipe kit, that includes everything from filter to pipe? does it take much work to install (i know slightly more than jack s**t about working on my ds at this point) or is it better to have a profesional do it. one last ? and comment. Is jetting as complecated as it looks or is it pretty easy. i dune almost exclusively, would this change a recommondation on what to do. (currently saving up for team pami 703kit)

thanks

Do a little reading up on the subject and educate yourself and then you won't have to rely on some one else. Once you get your head around how a carb works , they really are pretty easy to tune, same for changing the pipe.
Go to this link and browse around in Technical TipsDS tunning tips

Ok let me tell you. I have never done it before, untill now. It wasnt real hard. Just take off pipe- 4 screw on head pipe, a few more attaching pipe to frame, and its off. Then i would just take off carb- 2 more screws one on each side of carb. I left the throttle connected, just pull carb out far enough to work on it. Then 4 screws off the bottom of carb. ( god damn shi$#y things all stripped) i replaced them with allen head socket head screws, 4mm i think) All you need to replace is the main jet, with the one that is provided. pretty easy. put it back together. I also added a little high temp silicon on connections, to make sure all exhaust goes out the end of the pipe. ( good upto 700 degrees) Team Alba has an 800# and they will help you out along the way if you need it.

Do it yourself, as long as you have the tools. If you dont own tools, pay someone. hehe.
