250r motor question

i just a got 88 bottom end but i have a 86 cylinder to put on it? do i need a spacer plate? or what do i need to do to get it to work? thank

No spacer unless you want to run an 86 style piston. You can run any wear cylinder with any year bottom end. The only thing that matters it which rod and piston combo you use.
