rancher drives circles around a foreman and grizzly in the mud!!!
#1
went away up to the adirondacks this past week and found a little mudhole in the valley of some hills. my stock rancher did all right untill we started breaking up the weeds growing on the mud below. well my buddy's grizzly w/blackwaters just sank and i struggled to get around without getting too dirty and my feet wet( at night). the next day he took me over to a shop so he could get some new tires. he was getting 27" 589's, 9" in front and 11" in back. i looked around and found they had enough stock to set me up with a set too( rims too). we went back to the swamp and ripped it apart into a big mudhole and i ended up having to winch out the grizzly because he just kept getting stuck and hung up on clumps of stuff in the mud. i had a blast and was going through the stuff with hardly a problem. those 589's make a big difference. well the next day my brother showed up with his foreman w/ 27x12x12 blackwaters(studs still in from this past winter) all the way around. we headed out to the mudhole and in he went. and he went nowhere fast! i headed in and pushed him around until we loosened up the mud and he started going ok but needed lots of pushes. i got stuck once which was where the grizzly got burried and left big ruts. but after some pushing around i got her out and then had to winch out the 450. the mud did bog me down a couple of times and i couldn't spin my tire while winching out the other machines. bottom line, the 589's made a big difference in the way my rancher performs in the mud. glad i bought them in the heat of the moment. later - dana

Its so true, my rancher is crazy in the mud, even with my crappy stock tires.. If I got some vamps I bet I would tear stuff up.. There would be a big power loss though, the stock size tires are perfect for the displacement, I think I will get Titans.
