Anyone have an opportunity to ride both?
How do the Ruby's compare to the new Kawasaki 650? How much faster is the 650 to 40 mph? Is the ride on the 650 as soft and nice as the Ruby? Does the 650 or Ruby handle the turns better at speed? Which seems to be more stable over bumps at speed? And most important of all, does the real 4x4 of the 650 go through stuff the 3 wheel drive of the Ruby can't get through? Or can the 3 wheel drive of the Ruby get through as much as the 650's 4 wheel drive?

Thanks

Either nobody has driven both yet, or the Ruby doesn't even come close and nobody wants to admit it. Which is it? I'd like to be able to decide between the two. Thanks.

Hey, what can we say. The new Kawi 650 is the "latest, greatest" quad out there right now, just as the Rube was last year. Isn't this great, they just keep giving us more and more of what we want. Kawasaki addressed the few weaknesses that Honda did not. Power out the ying yang, wicked brakes, on demand locking front differential. No doubt, Honda or one of the other guys will address the 650's weaknesses (whatever they may be) and we'll get something else to argue about.

Thanks for the objective response. I know the kawi has more power, but that's not too important to me. Handling and reliability are more important. Does the Ruby have anything over the Kawi? Thanks.

Full time 3wd,drums and short suspension the Rubicon does not have much over the other 500cc 4wd let along compete with the bigger 4x4s that are here now.

The BEST tranny that can't even turn the tires in deep mud which I've read on this forum several times? Doubt it.

Tell us it's the best after it has proven itself for a couple of years.

None of the componants can be replaced if it fails, the result: a whole new tranny. Does this sound like the best tranny out there?
