Where is everyone going for the weekend? I have a small group of ppl that ride and we were wanting to know where everyone is going to ride. We have considered Little Sahara Ok. and Muenster. Please let me know we all need to get together.

 

There is a small group of people that I ride with that would like to get together for a group ride LaborDay weekend. Where you thinking of going Labor Day or one day during that weekend? We try to ride on saturdays, and Muenster sounds good! Let me know.

 

I'm going to Hot Wells Dunes. Going to be hot as hell but I'll deal with it.

 

Hmm Well we were thinking of going to Little Sahara OK. Depending on how many people are going will be the deciding factor.

 

How long does it take you to get to Little Sahara OK? Do you go up and camp or get a motel room or do you drive up and back the same day?

We're going to LS for Labor Day. Leaving wednesday night to meet some friends from Indiana up there. It gets crowded real fast on the holidays around there. Have you been before? I noticed someone asked how long it takes to get there. We live in between Gainesville and Sherman, it took us about 4.5 hours last time. We stopped to top off the gas and get some food. Getting a motel sucks, we did it once. The a/c is nice, but we have a/c in the trailer now so it's not too bad. Plus night riding is the best, plus it's cooler out on the sand by then. It stinks loading and unloading all the time. Maybe we'll see you up there.

If your not busy this weekend why don't you load up and go out to Fun Wheeler Park in Longview. My brother and I are going to head out about 6:00 am Saturday.

 

How good is fun wheeler park??? What kind of riding terrain is there???
I have heard alittle about it,but would like to know more before i go.

 

I haven't been out there yet, this will be my first trip but I called the owner of the land and he said they have about 1000 to 1500 acres of land with the following: Sand Drag strip, MX track, Barrel racing for quads, and many miles of trails with every thing from mud to tight tech trails. It sounded pretty cool so I think we will give it a try.
