What nerfs do y'all prefer, are they worth the money, and are there any (that are worth the buying) for under $140... that seems like allot for a piece of tubing and cargo net.
Excuse the sarcasm, but I ain't got gobs of money so I am trying to make the best investments I can.

thanks.

If you ride trails, they will protect you from grabbing a tree and bending your axle.

If you race, they will protect you from the other riders.

they also keep you from planting your feet when the quad gets tippy, protecting you from yourself. your leg is not going to keep a 400lb machine from doing what it wants.

i use Graydon nerfs. the only problem i've come across is where they mount to the foot peg. they bolt to the front. this places the end of the tube in front of the peg...killing the angle at which you get your foot under the shifter. ( easy fix raise the shifter ). other designs have a foot peg as part of the nerf bar. i like this design better...but have not found one i like for the Raptor.

I have owned AC, Dg, and have looked a Graydon. I like both AC and Graydon, but would stay away from DG.

Don't mind me but I could never see myself getting a pair of nerfs. Why do I need them? You look at all the quad videos and every one of those guys run them but they are jumping like 80' long jumps. I run in the woods. The trails really aren't that narrow. If I do a 20' long jump that's huge for me. Why would I need a set of nerfs?

Ive got AC nerfs and I've had problems with me not being able to get my feet UP!

One time I stuck my foot through the hole between the shifter and net. It got stuck and very stupidly I tried to get it out while moving. I ended up sticking my foot down and almost ripping my leg off. Bad mistake
