Still lookin a scratchin my head trying to get a good Big Red. Anyway todays question:

I want this thing for huntin and either loadin a deer on the back or draggin it out. I want it to get me where I'm goin and back even in a bit of snow. For my purposes is the 250 BR with the rear suspention much better than the 200 solid rear suspention? This will be a work horse not a flat tracker. If it is that's fine I'll just find a 250 but the 200 are a bit cheaper.

What would a reasonable price for a reasonable 84 200 BR?

Thanks again

Gary

The big red 200 sucks pretty bad compaired to the 250, the no rear suspension will kill you, I have flipped mine over more than once on seemingly easy terrain. the 250 has much more power as well. the 250 also has a detachable head light you can use for a spotlight.

Take it from someone with experience, The no suspension thing is not fun. You get home from a ride and you back and neck is hurting. Believe me its a rough ride. Besides you can probably get a 250 with suspension for the same price. And Im pretty sure you can get one for cheaper than $1,400. What you need to do is get a cycle trader and look for one that matches your budgit. Then give it a little test drive and see if it has enough power, if its a smooth ride, etc.

Thanks guy's

Just found and picked up my 85 BR yesterday. It was close enough to throw it on the back of the truck but it still was an all day ride back and forth. Now I need some info and a couple of parts. I would like to find someone partin out a Red and I need a good repair manuel.
