hey all i want to buy a new quad and i was wondering which would be better to buy, a 250ex or lakota sport. I love to go fast and race around. Which one is the fastest and most responsive, and therfore the one i should buy.

250 EX no doubt about it...good speed, perfect handling.

Quadman22,
Think about where your asking that question. What answer do you think you'll get? You have already made up your mind, you just want all the honda boys and girls to show you how smart you are.

If you "love to go fast and race around" I wouldn't get either one of those-I'd go for more a high performance quad-one that can be modified to match your riding experience later-shaft drive (250ex) just won't cut it. A few more dollars spent now will save you a bunch later.

thats exactly what i say!! forget the 250ex wait and buy a real quad, because you will master the 250EX right away with no room to grow into it.

The shocks will be maxed for anything but small jumps, 2 or 3 feet of air(unless you are really small), no way to learn a clutch.

Thats just my 2 cents worth
