250ex rebored or 300ex?

hey i want an automatic clutch but wouldn't rule out a manual clutch so which would be better to get? should i rebore a 250ex to a 300 or should i get a 300ex? if i rebored a 250ex to a 300 would it be a fast as a 300ex?

Its just not that easy. The most you could bore without resleeving wouldn't be much. Even if you did get it to a 300 the 300ex would still be faster becasue it has 2 more valves and more highly tuned. Your best bet is to get a 300ex cuz the 250 will seem underpowered after you get used to it.

Learn clutch, Had a 300ex for 2 years before Raptor. 300 ex Nice machine for the woods. Down on power in the upper revs but still will be better than bored out 250. Suspension is better than 250 and 300ex is not as tippy when doing hard cornering.

dont bore it that much it will make the walls where the piston is make it tun rell hot and it will blow up fast i did a 250r like that and it run about 1 month and it was shot i was so hot to ride you could ride a mile and the exhaust would be red just get a 300ex
