A couple of months ago i flipped my rear linkage and it seemed to work.
I decided to flip it back and here is what i noticed;
1. Shock seems to work better stock.
2. Shock seems to have more travel at stock angle.
3. Less bottoming out on big jumps.
4. I can ride longer wheelies.
5. The over all handleing is better.
6. When i preload for a jump ,I get more pop off the lip of the jump.
I have2 1/2 in. wheel spacers on each side on back so it already slide good thru corners and works triple rates up front. Tell me what you guys think of the modification if you have done it...

One thing I noticed is with the rear linkage flipped my seat tends to hit me in the a$$ more often going through the whoops. When I first bought the Raptor it did this so I adjusted the suspension and it improved dramatically. When I flipped the rear linkage, it seemed to have came back to it's prior state: A$$ kicking! I have adjusted the rear shock a lot but it never seems to help that much. Maybe this was caused by the flipping??!?!

The works shocks are built for your wieght and riding style. I would say they
are 10 Times better ride and about 2 more inches of travel then stock.They are worth the money.

Never thought that this mod would work for all riding conditions, but I think it's cool that it can be done to lower it for cetain conditions. I know come winter here in Michigan when I bolt on my studded tires and flip my linkage and add my new Elkas with sag I'll have one hell of a ice machine. Pretty cheap mod I'll say.

Just thought I would let you know I switched the linkage back to stock for the weekend. Man does this thing look high now! I will let you know from my perspective the difference after switching it back to stock. Since my biggest concern was in the whoops, I will try and ride a lot of em...
