GBC Dirt Devil A/T's?
#1
Well Im offically fed up with pluging and putting tubes in my sorry a$$ Titan 489's They have let me down approximatly 8 times since January or so, They are supposedly 4 ply tires but a quick peak inside suggest at the MOST 2 plys, Anyways the dough I keep wasting on patches and tubes is about to come to an end, Ive been browsing around for a few weeks now and the GBC Dirt Devil's look pretty promising,They are 6 ply rated and very affordable conpared to Bandits and such, I was just poking around to see if any one is running them yet and how they like them?? Thanks

Follow rider of Ohio. I have these on my Scrambler, not to good in the snow and such. I really like my Mud Sharks for all around use. They work real well in the mud, snow and the dirt. There only a few bucks more per tire and look real mean.

What are you running on the front?? Im basiclly just looking for kick a$$ traction all around and a TOUGH built tire. I spend most of my time at Haspins or at Wayne, Im not much of a mudder but I do love to hillclimb and occasionnally just haul a$$, Lately though im spending way to much time at the truck fixing these junk titans! Todd 400,
Is there anything wrong with Holeshots? Granted they are a little spicy compared to the others you mentioned, but I've never had trouble with them. They work well in the mud and they are indeed self cleaning. Look how much mud I've got on my quad in some of the pictures on my web site. If that ain't self cleaning I don't know what is.
Most of the XC riders in the GNCC use Holeshots, so they must be good. If there were a better tire for trails and all around use, they'd be running those instead of the Holeshots.
Personally, I recommend the XCT Holeshots for their extra clearance when trail riding.

Im not really ruling anything out, But so far my price on bandit xcr's and holeshot xc's are almost double, I am really in the market for good traction and excellent reliabilty, While at the same time not droping $300 on a set of tires, Right now I can come up with GBC's delivered for about $175, and that is looking tough to beat. The titans just really have me pi$$ed right now, My first Polaris was a 99 Trailblazer that I put about 150 hours on with no problems at all, Since then I sold it and bought my 00 new and they let me down on the first time out, I was a Titan fan untill I bought the Scram, Since then Its just been ultra frustrating.

Does the price of $175 include rims? Is it just two tires? Just wondering because Dennis Kirk has them for $45 per tire and it is free shipping. $90 for two tires delivered isn't bad. I just ordered them the other day. My friend has them on his Warrior, and they seem to be a good tire for mud/hard pack...he can even wheelie his quad on wet grass now...I couldn't dream of doing that. For the money, I would say that you can't go wrong. Talk to ya later.

If your going to go with a 25" tire or less, they are the AT with a 5/8" thread. 26" and up are the XT, they have a 1-1/4" thread. These should be much better all around for your needs. I have a set ready for my Grizz, or maybe my Sportsman 700... not sure yet, hope this helps!!!
