I'm hitting Pismo in a couple weeks. Any suggestions on the best sand tires for a Raptor? Thanks!

I have the Haulers with the 8 straight paddles. If you can get them with 10, it's better, they climb better. I watched 2 Banshees go up the same hill one after the other, the one with the 10 was quite a bit faster and smoother. Plus they switched quads and they both said the same thing. Also, fronts, I just use stock. Don't get the totally smooth fronts, no control. Just my advice.

well i have the sand skate II's and they are pretty good i figured since the
raptor wheelies so easy if i got a paddle with to much bite it would just slow
me down thats why i got the slanted paddle.they are 8 paddle on douglas 125
rims. if i could do it over i would get the skat trac EDGE in the 20x10x10
padle. i think i am going to sell mine. $150. any takers

the sand skate IIs are a good heavy duty paddle i just dont need a heavy duty
padle for the little sand riding i do.

I have 8 paddles on the way. Anyone interested in Skat-Trac Haulers 20x10x10 10 paddle? Too much bite.

Contact Joe at Fullerton Sand Tire in Orange County Ca. I have performed radar tests with most of the tires on the market. What works best for Glamis sand is the Comp Grooved Desert Mini Tracks.

raptorfrog, if you can't decide what tires to get it is not a big deal at Pismo. The sand is heavier than places like Glamis and your stock tires will be fine (unless you are drag racing). Has anyone tried the Maxxis Rooster sand tires? Are they available yet? I like raptor720's advice.
