Hehe...but seriously now...
I think that somebody (not me because I don't have great writing skills), should come up with a "generic" letter, explaining more accurate ATV injury statistics, and more positive uses for ATV's, that we can all copy and send to this guys email account. I would be happy to put it on my webpage as well.
Just a thought.

This is why I am going to purchase the new sportsman 700. Because everyone knows when you get a lawyer hung on your skid-plate, it slows ya down!

this is what i wrote, i hope it sounds ok. i'm not really good with words either.
I would just like to say that it saddens me that you would support taking
away American tax payer's rights. One thing my family loves to do is go
camping and take our ATV's. I feel so lucky that I have that time with my
family and friends and the freedom to enjoy a recreational sport with them.
One which you are trying to take away from me and so many others. I hate to
think about the day that I may have to tell my 5 yr old, who's been
practicing so hard on his ATV, that he is no longer aloud to ride it. And
even worse, to try and explain why. What makes sense to me, and I know I
would appreciate it, is someone like you working FOR the people that enjoy
this sport so much. To help us take care of the few people that our ruining
it for us too, not just to try ban the whole sport all together. Think of all
the families and individuals that spend time together, teaching and learning
and just having fun in general, that will lose from what you do and support.
I sincerely hope you take a minute to once again remember that we are tax paying Americans, just as you are. So please, quit
trying to take our rights away. Thank you for your time.

How about this? Let me know what you think and if we all like it we should choose a week to send it so it floods their office.
Dear Robert S. Bennett,
We the outdoor enthusiasts of America who enjoy riding our ATV's would like to know why you are choosing to attack our sport? As far as what I read you are making a hypocritical point. Your argument makes about as much sense as a smoker blaming big tabacco for cancer. Ask just about any smoker and they will say big tabacco did not hold a gun to their head to light up those cigarettes. How about outlawing cars! People die everyday in an auto accident, or would walking hurt your alligator leather wrapped feet too much. I choose to ride ATV's because that is how I enjoy to spend my time and money. As far as the kids under the age of 18 maybe the parents of this great country would like to grow up and take responsibility for there parental actions. Maybe they should quit using the TV to raise their children. That brings up another great hypocritical argument. Kids with guns, that's is another joke on how todays parents raise their children. I am sick of adults who do not take responsibility for their direct or indirect actions as far as raising their children; or for that matter their own personnal actions. As far as I'm concerned you or your beliefs do not exist for 1 simple reason. You yourself are advertising your point the same exact way you state Honda got the great people of America to buy their ATV's. Using a 1 sided biased opinion to sway the people of America to agree or be blindfolded by your belief. So if any American decides to join your argument by reading only 1 side of the story, then they are just as big of a hypocrite as your argument. An ATV to our great sport is so much more than what you or any of your followers will ever see. An ATV is a tool for recreation, work, play, and an even greater tool for the handicapped of America to see the back country of this great nation.
