hiper tech carbon fiber wheels for raptor
#2
Not sure of any pictures of the wheels on a Raptor but think about it before you buy them. If this is the only change you make to your quad, you will upset the center of gravity. The Raptor is already kind of top heavy due to its tall stance and narrow width. The wheels are the the lowest and furthest point out on the bike. This helps to keep all the weight above the axles and wheels in check. Hopefully this makes sense...
How much weight savings are you looking at over the stock rims? It would help if you could reduce at least the same amount of weight from the shocks and above. The exhaust system and handlebars are good starting points.

I know I've seen some pics of Raptors with Carbon Fiber rims on the net... I'll see if I can find a link. I personally think they look ugly as heck tho.

I got three Quads and all three have rims that are bend and or chewed up a bit. I'm thinking of buying these things myself. Aluminum bends, steal is heavy and I don't think a couple of pounds lighter rims are going to make a Raptor tip over... If it does, then it may be an excuse to buy a wider axel (I'm happy with the stock one for now).
