Just some advise to anyone considering buying a Custom X Series 2 pipe because it will pass the Oregon Dune sound test requirements of 93dB...don't because it won't. Even though it was advertised to not exceed 93dB at FULL throttle, that was as per Australia's testing procedures which apparently are not anywhere near the same as Oregon's. I will admit it is a lot quieter than all the other pipes I have heard and sounds very good but it doesn't perform as advertised on it's dB rating. I have tried to get a replacement Custom X pipe that was supposed to be quieter but no luck, very poor customer service on their part. I have now removed the Custom X pipe and reinstalled the stock pipe. Anyone that is interested in this pipe and wants to save a few bucks over a new one contact me via email with what you think its worth and I will get back to you. Including freight I have $430 invested in it.

Anyone running a new Big Gun pipe? I saw they were advertised as 94 db.

Did they indicate how the 94dB was measured? Apparently in Australia they measure it at 3 meters, in Oregon it is 20".
