raptor carb adjusting

could some on tell me were i can find the fuel mixter screws on the carbs. and how to adjust them because my machine runs a little to lean and i nead to richen it up a little. it would mean a great deal it some on could help me with this. thanks

The air mixture screws are under the carbs toward the front. Screwing them in makes it rich and screwing them out makes it lean. Factory setting is 1.3 to 1.5 turns out. good luck!

the factor raptor is a 140 145 jet re jet it to a 145 150. i found that more fuel you throw at the raptor the better it runs, i have mine 160 165 for ks, but i have different head pipe and filter setup. my brother runs his 170 175 for montana and he says it is just a little boggy at the bottom.

Pull, you've got it "bass-ackwards"! If the mixture screws are at the front of the carbs, they control the fuel flow, NOT air. If they are in the rear they control the air, not fuel. Hence, since the Raptor carbs have their adjustment in the front, you need to turn OUT the screws to achieve a richer mixture, not in. Just wanted to clarify this.
