Not positive but I think 13. 282cc's and it's called a 300. In my opinion, most reliable atv ever.

i dont think its 13, my 200cc 3 wheeler makes 15hp with my 200lbs on 28ccs off isnt going to be THAT much less powerful, but it still will be less. yeah, that trx300 is bulletproof. id pick it between a grizzly.why would i need a griz? i dont pull 12000+pounds. oh, aaaand my friends big red 250 pulled a 1500lbs wagon in 1st low. 13 hp? yeah, right! the trx300 needs l/h and a movable mounted headlight and a 600cc

On my 98 300 4x4 certificate of origin from Honda it says 17.8 HP. I would have to look at our log book to know for sure the exact hrs. I think mine has around 350 hrs on it. Its never been back to the dealer yet. I use it to pull around a rough cut 50 inch trail mower. It always does what I ask it to do and more. Chet

Looks like my memory is failing me

I checked at GT thunder and they dyno'd a 300ex (same engine) at 16.9hp
