Hey I am going to get a new quad soon and I have some questions... I have it narrowed down to the Banshee and the 400EX. I already know all I need about the 400EX (reliabilty,power,handling ect.) But I have no clue about the banshee. I need something that can do some trail riding but mostly wide open dirt roads. I know the Banshee is faster than the EX. How is the reliabilty of the Shee's. They say with 2-strokes you have to rebuild the engine every year...true? What is done in a rebuild, as far as I know it's just replacing the piston and rings, is there anything else?
With 2 carbs is there alot of problems getting it to run right? I'm just looking for a solid bike with alot of torque, handling and suspension that I can keep running for about 3 years before I sell and buy another. What do ya think, Banshee or 400EX?

Since you mentioned handling and suspension, go with the 400EX.

 

A banshee will be faster but will handle more poorly and has worse shocks,but they said blasters had bad shocks but i fly on mine and so far i love them so id go with the banshee theyd be really a blast!But it all depends on how you like to ride!
