Hey guys,
Its really no big deal, but, Anyone look at there Speedo when you first turn the machine on, and the LCD is calibrating. I noticed. 188, So, This speedo is capable of reading over 100 mph, 199 to be exact. Maybe they detuned this thing more than the wanted us to know? ;-) Now, If I could just find what they did!

The reason the Speedo has the ability to read 199 is that this is the same speedo used in Canada when Kilometers/Hour is the measurement. 100 Km/h is 62 MPH, so now you can see why they need the ability to read over 99.

detuning: 1 way is restricting air and fuel(smaller carbs) another is exhaust.

look at nascar they detune them for super speedways (restricter plates under carb)

gearing can slow a machine down alot also.

and of course weight.
