I need some info please. I have worn out the dunlop tires on the back of my raptor. Texas is about to allow quads on the road begining Sept 1, 2001. It is suppose to be ag related so i plan on carring a pair of pliers with me to check the fences out on my and my sister place with a few more stops in between. I like the stock dunlops but i was thinking hoosiers might be better for the road. I plan on keeping the front stock tires till they wear out. If i go with the hoosiers can i still use the fronts? What size hoosiers for the rear? 18*9*10 ,18*11*10 or the 59*10*10 ? Do they wear out quickly? Will the ride be a lot stiffer than the stock set-up?

Thanks

2001 Black and white
graydon nerfs (yellow nets)
k&n jet kit
12 tooth front sprocket
Yamaha gytr pipe
pro-design air
worn rear tires

Yes you can still use the fronts. The size depends on the size of the rim. If you spin a lot or slide YES THEY WILL WEAR OUT QUICKLY. They are a very soft compound so buy the hardest you can. Like the M50, it is the hardest you can buy so I would get that one for riding on ashalt. No the ride should be a lot softer because they are a thinner tire with a soft sidewall. Hope this helps.
