I have the opportunity to by a used (one tank of gas) yellow 01' 400EX. What is a good price on the high end? I think it can be had for about $4600 to $4700. Any thoughts?

$4,600 - $4,700 is a good price if it only has one tank of gas through it. It should still be in the break in period.

 

Looks to me like he is splitting the difference between wholesale and retail price. It would be a good deal if it truly has only one tank of gas. That would be about 4-5 hours of riding, maybe more hours if he was easy on the throttle. Chet
