Dose anyone know were I could find a rev limiter or a stutterbox (I think thats what you call it) that is not a part of the CDI. I currently have a RW stage 1 and I want to ad a NOS kit but NOT without a rev limiter.
There is a guy at my work that is good with motors and he told me companys (like MSD,Autometer, ect.) make a limiter that goes in line with your coil. These are programable with chips or pills that you plug in. Dose anyone know of such a thing? I don't want to dish out 300 some dollars to buy a Pami and I'm not sure if thay make rev limited CDI's anymore. Last line is for you Knuts!!!
thank you

I was always told that the only good things Graydon makes are bumpers, skids, and nerfs so I'm probably going to stay away from them. When I ordered my bumper and nerfs the guy I talked to was vary unprofessional and used words like a**hole and when I asked him about how there products compaire to others he discribed the others as "junk". so I'm not going back to them unless it's nessary (Sorry for venting)

Maybe Hemi can correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe it benificial to retart the timing when using nitrous anyway. I know in automotive aplications, they sell units that retard the timing only when hitting the NO2. If this is correct, and you want a rev-limiter, you might be best off going back to the stock box. The timing is not as advanced as your RWR box[or a Team Pami box] and it has a limiter.

I know that MSD makes an ignition box [with changable rev chips] that can be used for racing GO-PEDS, so a single cylinder aplication can be done, but to splice it into the DS wiring harness would be a custom job. I hope this info is some help.

See what I want to be able to do is keep the good performance that I have now and still be able to hit the nitro for hills and drags. If I go back to the stock CDI I'm afraid that I will loose my performance for all around riding. Will it hurt if my timing is advanced?
