How are your titan 589's in the snow? I have realters on the 400ex and they are good, but for my 650 I was considering 589's. The stock tread angle and pattern is a bit similar to the 589. I wonder if the 589's would be any better. How are they on hard pack? For pics of stock 650 tires see the following link.

go to the image gallery and choose pics 9,10,17,18

Thanks.

Is that stock on the polaris? My fiancee's trailblazer sucks in the winter with those tires. And they don't like the hardpack. Spins way too much. Works good in the mudd and regualar trail though.

The 489's are stock on some Polaris models. No one sells 589 as OEM tires.
589's (AT or MT) are awesome on snow, and you will enjoy the rooster tails!

Hmm, last year on sled trails my rubi dug holes real fast with the stockers, will the 589's dig me a grave faster or actually move me? And in the summer, how is the smoothness on hardpack? I run alot of old logging roads at high speed (if you can call 50 high speed).

I was concerned about their performance on hardpack too, till I bought them. The ride on hardpack is just like OEM tires, not choppy. The tires greatly improve your traction in all soil types. I have mine up to 40mph, and the bike handled no different that it did on stock tires...

For those of you that say these tires aren't good in the snow have no idea what you are talking about. This tire is an excellent at whatever it does, mud, snow, hardpacked, sand etc. it will do anything great and nothing bad.

Thanks,
