I have a 99 Scrambler 500 and the carb is leaking. There is a nipple hanging down under the carb that is constantly dripping. There is also a allen screw on the left side above this nipple and I can pull it out and run it back in and it quits for a little bit. I have pulled the screw out and checked the end and it looks like it is chipped. Is this why it is leaking and can I find another one to replace it with? Any suggestions, it is starting to make the garage smell like gas and the wife said to fix it or it goes outside!! My baby couldn't survive outside without being pampered!!

Thanks
Scott

Sounds like your float or the needle/seat are having trouble sealing. You will probably need to remove the carb (fun..remove plastic and gas tank), and remove the bowl to see why it's leaking.
