i bought a used 2001' trailblazer and a friend said that it was still on the original tank of injector oil because the color is yellow. he said that he heard that polaris only uses the stuff in new machines and that you cant buy it retail. is this true or is he blowing smoke up my @ss?

Blowin smoke.......the color is yellow since the bike is primed from the factory with Polaris Premium Gold Synthetic 2-stroke oil. I don't know if the factory fills the machines, or if the dealership does, but I do know it varies. Sometimes, they prime it with blue oil (non-synthetic), but my 2001 Xplorer 400 was primed with the synthetic stuff (synthetic). Just go to your local polaris dealership and get the synthetic to continue using. It is supposed to burn cleaner and smoke much less.
