I am looking to fine tune my raptor, I find it kind of lays down when in 3rd or higher gear and think maybe the jetting may be off.

My raptor for the time being is stock. I want to fine tune it to get the most performance out of it stock. After that I plan to add some type of exhaust and do some airbox mods. I am not sure what airbox mods or exhaust I will do yet, I am still researching those.

I am looking for a jet kit that will allow me to fine tune things in and maybe rejet for different altitudes and when future mods are made. What is the best route to take. Would it be best to just by different jets and if so what sizes. Or are there kits that offer several different sizes of jets and would allow me to make future changes.

Any info and part numbers would be great.

Thanks
Paul

I have the k&n Stage 2 jet kit.It comes with srings, clips, needles, and about 10 different jets for different altitudes. The system i am running is ; big gun full race exhaust,k&N air filter, outer ware, splitfire plug, and baffles cut out of the airbox. It makes a big difference on bottom and mid range power on my raptor. If your set up is stock,I would start with the jet kit, airfilter ,air box baffles, and remove your spark arrester. go to
www.rockymountainmc.com.They have lots of parts for a raptor and the jet kits
are 50. buck and the k&n filters are 34.99.
