Well I have gotten my 2000 Honda TRX300 2X4 up to 50mph+ but I only weigh 130-140 lbs.

 

I can get 47 mph out of my 250. I have never raced a Honda Fourtraxx 300 .

 

Well I'll tell you how it went. I beat him by a fragment of hair. Extreme close race. Neck and neck until I hit fifth and I slowly glided off. This was on a dirt road. A very smooth dirt road. I was killing the engine trying to over rev the engine in each gear. Pretty surprised on how fast the TRX 300 is. A great machine. I maxxed out at 53 mph but the engine was getting severly cranky. He was probably doing 50-51mph.
