is there any difference betwen the 2001 and the 2002 raptor

Yep, see www.yamahausa.com for the differences. Mainly, they are:

1) new ratios for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gears
2) slightly stronger rear axle
3) piggy-back style rear shock instead of remote reservoir

Personally, I would wait for the 2002 at this point.

And the reverse is geared lower.
Hey i was on E-Bay and some one said the 2002s are slower than 2001s is this true I don't think it is but not shure.
This dude is so stupid!

What a total crock of "shet"! Some people will believe anything. Would any of you buy a bike from a clown like this? Let the buyer beware!
