I realize i asked this question a couple of days ago, but i am at a lose as to whether it's worth the cost.

Will it affect the chamber, toe-in,or does it affect (reduce) the life of the suspention?.

Are there any pitfalls to installing this kit?.

Thank's for any info.

From what I read I can only add 1" lift to my 99 b/bear,is it worth it ,I put 26" tires on and it's better.

Perfex makes what they call a 1.5" kit for the 99 bear (measures closer to an inch) that works well on my Bear, I'm running 27's on stock rims and they never rub.

I didn't think that 1.5 " was worth it ,maybe I'm wrong. I thought about the 27" tires but I didn't want to loose any power. I have the 10 speed so I should have gone with taller tires. The 26x12 0n rear and 26x10 on front work great though, never been stuck, YET.

There is definite power loss with my 27's, but with jet kit, pipe and K&N I was pretty much back to stock, just added the new piston and overbore last week and she's really alive now. Keep in mind also that the 27" lites don't weigh a whole lot more than the stock Dunlops so you are simply dealing with the gearing being taller, not much for extra weight. If you have a 10 speed you'd be laughing, mine is only the 5.

How much does the over boar give, can you calculate the ccs,I would think that polishing and porting the head would be a better way to go. What did you use for a better pipe?

Doesn't give you much more for cc's, but the compression ratio is now 10.25:1 vs stock 8.6:1 (or close to that). Also a lighter forged piston.

My pipe is a Supertrapp IDS2, works great.
