Does anyone have the dirtwheels issue with this shootout in it? If so, please tell me what it said.. which is fast...best handleer...etc. thanx ttyl cya

the 400ex came out on top of everything except for desert and ease of use.

Here goes from the mouth of Dirt Wheels.....top speed Ban=67, EX=64, Sport=61. Best engine=EX, Best susp.=EX, Best handling=EX, Best brakes=EX, Best overall race=EX (Banshee was 2nd on all these). Best trail=EX, best duner=Banshee, Best desert=Banshee, Best for novice= Sport. 85 yard uphill drag......Ban.=6.85 sec.,EX=7.11, Sport=8.0. Lap times on natural moto-x track......Ban.=79,82,86 sec. EX=80,86,85 sec., Sport=84,88,88 sec. ( 3 diff. Riders.)

 

If those #'s are correct, why does the Banshee place 2nd in most events when it spanked the 400ex on the track? Average = 82.33 for the Banshee compared to 83.66 for the 400ex.

The Banshee is underrated....thats why.

 

No, the reason is that the Banshee isnt advertised like the 400EX. Consider the source. Advertising Dollars = High Ratings.

I do Love my 400EX and it handles like it's on a rail, good power and superb suspension, but I know a Banshee would kick my *** in a drag.

I get the biggest kick out of getting under someone's skin about what quad is best, when in reality I could care less what people think. YOU have to be happy with your quad, not anyone else. Sure, some quads need retired and dont really excel at any one thing but you cant pit a 4x4 against a 250R in a race the same as you cant pit a Banshee against a 400EX in tight trails.

Only the fools with Warriors or Blasters making claims that they can do 68 mph are the people that need their a$$e$ kicked. But you have to understand that they are probably just kids too.

By the way... My quad is the fastest, bestest, killerest, quickest, meanest, leanest, monsterest, quad on the planet.
