First of all is there a stage1 and a stage2 jet kit?? My question is that I want to improve the carburation and air filtration sytems, so what would be the best combo since I ride in REALLY dusty area's. I see that they make a Outerwearer for the K&N filter, so wouldn't that somewhat cut back on the amount of air it can flow? If so then wouldn't it flow about the same as a foam filter? So someone hook me up with the perfect set up for my situation. I would remove the lid and go that route , but sometimes when out riding I don't know if or when I might come across mud or water. I want to order this ASAP but I will wait to see what the best set up would be .

The jet kit required would be the K&N Stage 2 kit, manufactured by Dynojet. For dusty conditions, foam filter on a Pro-Design adapter would be the hot setup. The instructions with the jet kit will explain about cutting out the snorkle to the airbox lid, and if necessary you can add several 1" holes to the lid for addtional airflow.
