I was wondering what Silver Lake is like on the weekend after Thanksgiving? Is it crowded, too cold, just right? Also at this point do they have any db level restrictions? Because If they do that might be a problem, my Raptor is louder than the machine any of the people I ride with, even A Suzuki DR400 dirtbike with a full exhaust.

 

You need to adjust your plans. The Silver Lake ORV area closes October 31. There are no sound restrictions currently, but there will be in 2002. They open April 1. We're going to be there this Thursday-Sunday so I'm going to try to track down more information about the sound requirements: how and where they plan on measuring, is the 94dB absolute, who deceides which RPM to check at, etc. I've been holding off on a pipe for this reason.
