I have a Stock 2001 Traxter XT. Im looking for a universal K&N filter ( Since K&N does not make a filter for this quad )

I am also looking to change to 28 inch tires. Was told that I need a lift kit.

I only know of 3 places that sells lift kits. Does anyone know of any other places?

Any other Mods for this quad?

What kind of Tires Should I put?

Any help here? Thanks!

there is no problem to put 28 in tire,it is better that you put a lift kit on it.the 28 outlaw will require spacer kit for the back wheel, all the other brand no problem.

So you are saying.. all 28inch tires except for the outlaw will work without the lift kit?

I believe K and N makes a Power Up jet kit for the Traxter, but it does not include the filter like it does on some models.

Sorry,
I don't remember off hand. I think I saw it listed in a Tucker-Rocky Catalog. They have a web site but the entire catalog is not listed. (not the last time I checked anyway, it's too big.)So you might have to call them and request a catalog. Possible even pay for one. ($10.00?) Check with Dennis Kirk or any of the other mail-order catalogs too if you have one.

My Warn catalogue lists the following roller fairleads

28929 - all warn mounting brackets, except TRX or Bigbear
29268 - for Honda TRX
29257 - for Yamaha BigBear

The Bombardier catalogue lists the part as 715000011
