New 2001 Yamaha Sport/High Performance machine

Here is what I heard.
The Banshee will get a power boost.
The YZ400 or higher (most likely be a 400cc to say within the rules of most races) will get put in a fame to compete with the 400EX.
The Warrior will be killed off.(replaced with the YZ400)
The Blaster will be crossbred with the Warrior. It will have the juice brake, linkage rear suspension of thw Warrior. But a water cooled DT230 2-stroke engine. Guess the idea behind this is to master the the under 250cc class.

I don't know where BC_YFS200 got his info, but in the January issue of 4 Wheel ATV Action they said that Yamaha is coming out with a new sport machine for 2001, along with Suzuki, and I believe them. A while back they said they seen one being tested, but they couldn't get the bugs worked out of it for 2000, so it's coming in 2001.

I hope you guys are right but the idea of scraping the Warrior would be a big mistake cause the Warrior has been the best selling sport machine ever. And if the anything I hope the new sport machine will be a Warrior 400. IF YAMAHA GETS RID OF THE WARRIOR THEY WILL ALSO LOSE ONE CUSTOMER!!!

)also a new 4-stroke based on the new YZF440 motor.
