Need another chain and sprocket set.

Anyone having success with an EK520SRX ($60) rated for 8400 lbs of tensile strength and up to a 600cc engine? EK Chains also makes the EK520MVX ($114) rated for 8400 lbs of tensile strength but up to a 750cc engine. I think I would buy a Sidewinder Gold O'Ring ($120) first though since it is rated at 12,000 tensile strength.

If I buy the EK520SRX then I will most likely go with cheaper sprockets too. Sidewinder has some great sprockets but they are really expensive ($40 for the front, and up to $140 for the rear titanium alloy that is stronger than stainless steel and 1/3 lighter).

I am having trouble picking up the phone to order the complete Sidewinder setup for $320 if the cheaper solution will work. I need the new set to last longer than my current 4 month average though.

Thanks for sharing your experience based on chain/sprocket solutions for LARGE displacement 4-STROKE engines. No offense to 2-stroke lovers but they just don't put the same type of strain on the chain and sprockets as a 4-stroke engine does.

Go with the sidewinder, that's what I,m going to do. Remember "you get what you pay for".
