How fast is a 250Ex and a Lakota because i am choosing between a lakota or 250EX.

I don't know which is faster but if i was to pick i would say get the lakota the 250ex is too small i feel like im ridin a badger when im on a 250ex.
im 5'9" 130

 

250ex-48mph, Lakota-52. The 250ex seems quicker though

 

lakotas are a joke. Mojave is SOOOOO much better, it's not even funny. the 250EX is far sportier than the lakota and is getting a bigger after market following. In my newest issue of dirtwheels they had a modified 250EX that could race MX pretty damn good. no chains to worry about either. But I would still get a mojave. the mojave with a 400 kit will kill 400EXs all day. I've seen one that had this awesome maier plastic that looks just like a green 250R, it had some serious chassis/suspension mods too. It was probably one of the fastest four stroke 250cc-300cc Motocrossers I've seen in a long while.

 

Well, what 250EXriderjamie's quote at the bottom is pretty much right. Honda and Kawasaki is prolly the best quads out there. But, (cough) (cough) you have a Polaris, so I wouldn't laugh now b/c I bet within 2-3 years, yours is going to be in the shop at least 2 or 3 times! I have heard alot about the Scramblers, I heard they were no count. But hey man dont take this in a wrong way. Im not a fan of Polaris and anybody that is not a fan of Honda would disagree with me too. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]. I have not rode a scrambler but from what I hear, there not too good of a machine. But who knows, it could have need a lemon, ya never know. My half bro bought a brand new Sportsman 500 and he prolly had it about 6 months and then oil started getting in the radiator. Then he traded it for a Warrior and had no problems out of it yet.

well, i bought a 250Ex this saturday and i have to say it is one powerful quad. i only got into 3rd gear so far and have at least hit 25mph if not more. i am glad i bought it because it will last, the day i bought it i went into the back of the store and saw a 1968 50cc dirt bike and it took the person TWO KICKS TO START!!! and then i knew i went with the right choice! but everyone has their opinion and mine is that HONDA'S LIVE FOREVER!!!!!!![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]
