A friend of mine just bought a used 95 Banshee.

The owners manual says to put 10w-30 oil in the transmission/clutch.

I have always put a motorcycle transmission oil in my Banshee (at about $6.00 a quart). Will $1.00 a quart 10w-30 work just as well?

Thats what I usually use in my blaster and banshee, I usually use castrol syntec or GTX, It works fine.

 

10w-30 in mine for two yrs no problems
