well i really like it. i think we were all just expecting a cannondale of sorts. they'll change their tune when they see it kicking some raptor ***. its got the same horsepower and lighter than a 400EX plus it has reverse! its got EVERYTHING! people are being hard on it cuz its a rip off design from the raptor...

Seems like some folks just have to bad mouth everything. Look at all the crap that was said about the 700SP before it even came out. I don't know if the new 700 or the new Suzuki are good or bad. All I can say is, "Don't knock it 'til ya try it."

I personally think that if this new Suzuki turns out to have the handling of the 400EX and has more power, it will be a big hit. Not everyone wants to pay $6500 for a Raptor, but would rather save a grand on a 400EX. But, the 400EX doesn't have reverse which wasn't a selling point for a lot of people. The Suzuki might be the machine that these people will go after.

Why do people expect something so awesome and so sweet every time they hear a rumor of a new quad? That's the only reason that some people don't like the new Suzuki. What did you expect?...a quad with rocket boosters? Correct me if I'm wrong. No matter what manuafacturer puts out a quad, they'll neve be able to please them all
But don't get me wrong, I think it's sweet. Now I can't wait to see Polaris' too!

I personally like the design of the new Suzuki. The fenders do remind me of a Raptor but it is the look that is in. Don't be surprised if all of the new sport quads look some what similar in the future.
During the summer I seen a big utility quad with a nose piece off a Power Wheels Chevy truck. It even had headlights mounted in it. The guy told me his kids broke the truck and he needed new front fenders, so he improvised. It looked cooler than hell. I wish I had my camera with me at the time.
I can't wait to see the new Polaris sport quad when it comes out. I just hope it weighs under 400lbs. If it does I will be making more room in the garage for it.

My fenders are just fine. Actually they seem to be a little more stiffer without the black flaps on it and it looks better. The brackets that hold the fenders from underneath can be bent to angle the rear fenders upward.
Now for the Aaen exhaust. I installed last week but never got to try it until this week after I got off working 4-12 shift. The exhaust sounds better than stock muffler and fit into place perfect. Only took about 30 minutes to install. It would of took less if I would of used the right tools. I couldn't find the spring stretcher/installer that my dad has untill after I was done. It seemed like it had a little more top end but that is hard to say how much. To me top speed is hard to judge with out someone to compare it to or being friends with the local police dept. Though it did have more grunt on take off and midrange. It does seem a hell of a lot easier to launch and ride a wheelie now than before.
This last spring I rode the Tboss right down the rode and let my friend shoot it with radar and lazer speed guns. On 2 different passes he got 50mph and 52mph. He was the cop in the town where we live, now he is not. We tend to play with the new guy.
